tiny fractures

Tiny Fractures Indie Synth Band debut album cover. The band comes from Northern California so wanted something that resembled driving down the coast while being abstracted and deformed to evoke a sense of confusion.

Solo artist, Hawthorne, portrait done using bisexual lighting and then put into photoshop. Face is blurred and twisted to obscure the sense of reality as is felt in the music with regard to the overwhelming confusion the artist felt while addressing an identity crisis regarding sexuality.

Atmosfera. Photograph of neon lights to recall the feeling of being in a club. Simple clean lines mimicking the steady beats of this lo-fi album.

Street Saints.jpg

Indie/hip-hop duo from Queens. We wanted to evoke a sense of home for their album. In my design I illuminated the textures of the brick houses in their neighborhood and mimicked the effect of the spray-paint graffiti. These visual elements play into some of the lyrics on the tracks and also speak to their vision of a varied, multicultural existence in the borough.

Taken from a photograph of the artist as a baby - as inspired by “A Child is Born” (Howard Hanger Trio),”Ready to Die” (Biggie), “Illmatic” (Nas),"Tha Carter III” (Lil Wayne) and “Good Days”(SZA) and many others.
