Product Design

Although I cannot share the final designs for privacy reasons, I am happy to share some earlier iterations of designs for a fragrance company based in Southern Italy. Working remote through COVID was a breeze with this team. After experiencing product samples and recalling sfumato and al-fresco painting techniques, I was able to draw from the history of Italy to create these labels. With the olfactory sense being so strongly correlated with taste, the company developed scents that each speak to a different taste sensation; bitterness, sweetness, and saltiness.

My experience in Art History, painting, design, and synesthesia helped me to develop color palettes and select typography to create these designs.
